2010 welcomes the release of the third full length album “Why dawn is called mourning” from Swedens very own Nervous Nellie. The record is an ode to times passed and times to come. Think Bowie, think pop, think Tweedy, think rock, think Harrison, think alternative, think Gano and you are in the ball park. Yes, that is correct, it’s a delicate gem.
Nervous Nellie have defined themselves as being a diverse act not only on record but also when taking the stage playing hundreds of shows around the globe. They are a well oiled music machine that has made it’s way from Sweden to the USA making stops pretty much everywhere in between. Merits include numerous headline tours & festivals as well as support tours for Shout out louds, Johnossi, The Vans Warped tour etc.
Henrik & Magnus are brothers born in Chicago, homeschooled in the Swedish language after their final move to Sweden. Andy & Sebastian are brothers born in Falkenberg, brought up on the fresh west coast breeze. Music brought the four together, music will keep them together.
Brothers keep the doors open when laughing and crying. Brothers keep the doors open because when brothers laugh and cry together, it's not embarrassing. Maybe that is solely what makes these guys so marvellous. Maybe Nervous Nellie are solely marvellous because they let us laugh and cry without indignity.
